Paypal-send money with no fees by coffeejelly Paypal-send money with no fees by coffeejelly
I keep running into ppl on here that complain about getting charged a fee when they send money through paypal, or they are just unaware that there is a way to not get charged.

This is for those who say things like "Ugh, paypal sucks. They charge you a fee to send money!" etc. etc. Lol. =P

Click for Full View.

I will update this if paypal changes their process.

*Edit: I think now you might have to pay a fee anyways if you are using a credit card to pay. Debit cards might not have a fee, paypal balance gift transfers to another person shouldnt have a fee*

This isnt a good idea at all.
If you do this then your purchase is NOT covered by Paypals protection.
Basically, if you do it this way and the person you commission suddenly decides that they aren't going to complete your commission AND decides to not reimburse you there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING you can do about it.
The fee is a small thing to pay for the protection offered.

This is actually against Paypal ToS!! If you continue to do this you may lose access to your account, along with your money in it. If fees are such a problem then artists need to raise their prices. The commissioner is not sending you money as a gift--they are buying a SERVICE from you thus they are in the right when they send payment as a service.

For me it's the opposite,

I only get a fee if I choose 'Family and Friends'

If I'm paying for 'services' or a 'payment owed' there is no fee, other than the conversion fee when I change from AUD to USD

Though, I use Australian paypal.

Alternate options might be called 'Friends and Family'

Should be a suboption there labelled as 'gift'

But I always get a fee if I use that ouo;;
